This conversation may be one of the rare occasions where a founder's venture is fundamentally changed by the end of the conversation.
Nakkeeran Raveendran is the founder of We Care Social, https://wecaresocial.co/, a charity founded on the principles of indie-hacking. Nak makes it really really easy for indie hackers and large business alike to give back.
He uses donations of any size to fund a team of developers in India who build free websites for organizations in need. It's just about the easiest and most high-leverage donation you can make. We Care Social does not charge the charities any money for their websites, the services is entirely donation-based.
In this discussion we break down how Nak got started, what's been working so far, and what changes he needs to make to scale his venture up to hundreds of charities.
