They're a large firm with divisions everywhere. if you want something quick and cheap they would not be the right people, but if it's a complicated setup / involves international tax law and understanding long-term requirements then the people we use would be great”

Note: I don’t believe John may be able to help with as many scenarios, such as seed/series-A investment rounds or international tax matters, but he can comment on that further.)

Yelena Epova, CPA

APRIO (one of the largest accounting firms in the world; an excellent partner for when your company begins its international projects or if you need to form an investment fund off-shore for a group of international investors, as needed; she won’t be the one doing your taxes, but her team mate would be and they also can handle the R&D Tax credit opportunities and other domestic credits or financings; more expensive, but possibly indispensable later)

Rocha & Company PC (small to mid-sized accounting firm that can help with bookkeeping and tax returns, R&D tax credits, fundraises).
